I arrived to Jenna’s parents house and was greeted by the biggest smile you have ever seen. Jenna’s dad Geoff was running about doing odd jobs to make sure everything was going ahead as planned, through the door way her mum Mary-Ann was beaming as well. It wasn’t much of a surprise when I was lead into the kitchen to see Jenna also grinning as her hair and makeup finishing touches were put into place. There wasn’t anything, including 42+ degree heat that was going to stand in the way of these two families joining on Friday the 18th in the Horsham Botanical Gardens. The morning flew past and it was soon time to head to the gardens were all their loved ones had gathered form near and far to wish these two the very best on their wedding day.
Under the shade of the big trees we all enjoyed the most beautiful vows written by the couple that brought a tear to so many eyes, it was touching that later in the evening the mother of the groom Anne, would also share vows written for their special day years previously. It wasn’t long and a loud cheer was heard as the marriage was official and these two loving families were joined forever.
With water stops and shady spots we went about capturing some special images for these two in the gardens, along the river and rounding the day off with some country shots out in a harvested paddock before returning to the many happy guests waiting at the Horsham Golf Club for the reception festivities. The festivities didn’t disappoint with lots of laughter during the speeches, the cutting of the cake and a very lovely father daughter dance, this followed into a beautifully choreographed bride and groom waltz, finishing with everyone joining in and dancing the night away.
I just want to finish off by saying congratulations to this beautiful, kind and caring couple. Who made their day shine brighter than the sun and for how they took care of their bridal party and loved ones. With tough conditions you all made the day incredibly enjoyable and a great experience. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of something so special!
