Melissa and Timothy or should I say Mel and Chang as their loved ones call them, tied the knot on Saturday the 16th of April on the front lawns of Glenwillan Homestead near Warracknabeal. Without nerves these two joined hands and laughed along with their celebrant and crowd as we heard of their generous spirit and zest for life. Shortly after the ceremony we headed off to capture some special photographs at the homestead, the spot where they first kissed. Following that we visited Chang’s fathers grave for a special moment together and finally to the creek for sunset. After arriving at our final location for images over the water, a special surprise was waiting for us, the most beautiful vintage firetruck! This held special significance for the Jefferies family and was adorned with streamers and balloons and the bell ringing. What a fun and joyous end to our portraits. Following this we made our way to the racecourse for the reception. It wasn’t long before we were treated with a special dance by Mel and Chang that had their guests in tears of laughter as they danced along to a few select songs.
There is no other way to describe this wedding than fun and full of love. Thank you so much to you both for allowing me to be a small part of your special day. xoxo Thea Jane
